Out of the Darkness Philadelphia Walk
Join me in participating in the Out of the Darkness Philadelphia Walk on October 1, 2017. The walk is organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), which funds research, creates educational programs, advocates for public policy, and supports survivors of suicide loss. These Out of the Darkness Community Walks, which are held in all 50 states, are the largest AFSP fundraisers and have a tremendous impact on suicide prevention programs and raising community awareness for mental health.
The Out of the Darkness Philadelphia Walk is taking place on October 1, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at the Philadelphia Art Museum. For event details or to register for the Philadelphia Walk, click on the button below.
With over 400 Walks organized for 2017, there are many opportunities for people across the country to get involved in coming together to raise awareness and funding for suicide prevention.
